Omaha Schools Foundation Classroom Grants
 

 Applications for the 2017-2018 school year are now being accepted. 

Each year Omaha Schools Foundation funds grants to enhance both the classroom and real-world experiences of the Omaha Public School Students. Principals and Teachers are asked to submit proposals no later than December 1, 2017, 12:00 pm. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Grant awards will be announced in January, 2018. Grants will be considered for a 3 year cycle and then not considered for a period of 2 years. Your grant application must indicate that there is a plan for sustainability.

Grant Guidelines for 2017-2018

Grants will be considered for: 

  • Projects related to your building's School Improvement Plan
  • Projects for special needs students
    • Social skills development
    • Creative instructional units
    • Collaborative efforts 
    • Selective software licenses

Grants will NOT be considered for: 

  • Teacher stipends
  • Computer hardware, tablets, smart phones
  • Video cameras
  • Food preparation activities
  • T-shirts 
  • Large equipment items

All grant applications MUST be signed by the building principal or head of your department. Grants will not be considered until the document has been received.

GRANT APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BEFORE SEPTEMBER 1, 2017.

GRANTS  MAY BE SUBMITTED BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 1, 2017 AND THROUGH DECEMBER 1, 2017, 12:00 pm.
