Omaha Schools Foundation is now offering grant opportunities to both Teachers and Community Organizations in support of

2016-2017 Classroom Grant Awards

The OPS Board approved funding for 22 Elementary and High School classroom grants totaling $32,024.19 in the 2017 school year. These grants were submitted to and  reviewed by the OSF Grants Committee, OPS Department of Curriculum Instruction and Assessment and OSF Board of Directors. We would like to congratulate the hard work and creative thinking of these teachers who have designed curriculum and programs which continue to enhance the success of the Omaha Public School students.

Omaha Schools Foundation Classroom Grants

Grant Applications are now closed. Applications for the 2017-2018 school year will be accepted beginning September 1, 2017. 

Each year Omaha Schools Foundation funds grants to enhance both the classroom and real-world experiences of the Omaha Public School Students. Principals and Teachers are asked to submit proposals no later than December 1, 2017, 12:00 pm. Once the Principal Approval Form and application has been completed, fax your application to OSF at 531-299-9600 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Grant awards will be announced in January, 2018. Grants will be considered for a 3 year cycle and then not considered for a period of 2 years. Your grant application must indicate that there is a plan for sustainability.
