The Omaha Schools Foundation administers many different scholarships for graduating seniors of the Omaha Public Schools.

Donors may establish scholarship funds in honor or in memory of loved ones and may determine criteria which best fits their wishes. Scholarship Established in Memory of Laura Magaña

Sue Aguilera-RoblesThe Omaha Public School Foundation has established a scholarship in memory of Spring Lake Teacher, Laura Magaña. Ms.  Magaña died unexpectedly in her home Sunday night. She was a first-year teacher in the Omaha Public Schools’ dual-language program, where students learn lessons in both English and Spanish. Mick Messbarger Memorial Baseball Scholarship

Mick Messbarger Memorial ScholarshipPurpose: To provide a scholarship for an OPS graduating senior from Central High School who has participated in the Central Legion Baseball Program. This scholarship is in memory of Mick Messbarger who was a dedicated coach for the Memorial Park Baseball Little League and someone who loved baseball stats, trivia and most of all the game of baseball.  (Particularly the Texas Rangers!)
